Riffstation - Guitar Chords App Reviews

Im glad I "discovered" this; as a new guitar player I can use the help and enjoy being able to try played along with the artists I like. With I could see the strumming patterns though....hard for me as Im not musically gifted. Have told a lot if my friends about it and now they too are fans.

Everything you need to learn a song. This app shaves hours off learning to play a songs basic chords

just wish I could save a session for print or offline viewing

I did rate it 5 star. Gave a good review. However. Now I am required to sign in. I dont think so. There are other options to find chords and songs and my email is not required

One of the best apps Ive ever used, free or paid. Lots of functionality. Gives you the chords, lets you adjust with capo, etc etc.

I try a George Strait song & it wont play

After over twelve years of using iTunes, and 10 years of playing guitar, I can honestly say this is my first comment and couldnt be more enthusiastic. As a seasoned rhythm guitar player and new composer, I have never found anything that gave me better or more instant understanding of my instrument. I am always looking for new ways of thinking and this really blows my mind. Music is intuitive and riffstation makes it instinctual. Its free! Support these amazing people! Best. App. Ever. Absolutely fantastic For piano or guitar

This app is phenomenal! It has every song you could possibly think of! If youre a musician, you will LOVE this app! No gimmicks or annoying ads! It does exactly what it says! Im so impressed! Its just what Ive been looking for. Its perfect for beginners or advanced players. Id give it a thousand stars if I could!! Standing_O for this fantastic app!

Cathartic, and helpful. Did not require a log in when I got it. After the update it suddenly wants a log in. Why? This is not helpful. Clicking on app support link, or developer website also takes me to a log in page. I didnt need to do this when I got the app. I dont face book, twitter, or google plus. This is the only available place to write without suddenly having to create an ID. I had really liked the app before, with five stars. Others may be having this log in problem. Thus no reviews. Hoping it is simply a glitch, and will get sorted.

Great app! It would be great if you had a bass specific option as well... Please consider doing this.

Love the ability to change tempo and the capo adjustment helps play chords I know. Just learning guitar and this app helps me notice progress in an otherwise dull repetitious routine. Found myself practicing more and playing around with chords and strumming patterns to figure out how to fill out the music more.

With a few minutes of first use I just realize all the help will get from this great app.

Great app and perfect for learning to play along. My only wish is that mandolin chords were included in the instrument choices. If mandolin was added to the instrument choices I would give this app 10 stars.
