Riffstation - Guitar Chords App Reviews

You have to use the songs they offer instead of the songs in your music library. Needs to be able to do both.

This is super already and had the some I was looking for (jilted by pupini sis) I was targeting a quick easy to use play along for uke for vacation (I normally play piano, but dont take one with me traveling much) Tried a few with no luck. Then got home and found this.. Thanks to whoever put this together. Keep up the good work! Update-- Seems like some of the Sinatra and Ratpack songs are not sinked up with the music.. And I can find a way to feed this back in order to fix it. I would do it if we could control the intro timing.. NEW FEATURE Please...?

Will not let me log in so cant use app

This app is very good for learning songs that might not have a tab yet. Only issue is I wish they would put in the left hand for the piano tabs. Its not a deal breaker but it would give me some clarity when fine tuning the song.

The app was great before the update. It has everything you want to learn honestly, but ever since the update I cant log in with email Facebook or Twitter, so this app is useless. Please fix problem soon so I can use the app again!

What happened to the metronome?? I have deleted and reinstalled the app but I lost the feature.

I just started using this app. The tempo mode is great for slowing down those tricky spots in songs, but that mode was gone tonight. Anyone else missing that option?

This update ruined the program. It makes you sign in again and the sign in doesnt work

Even before the update, couldnt sign in ....would of have to uninstall then reinstall and it would work once ...then , couldnt sign in....after the update ..still wont get past the splash page ....its a cool app when it works ....but janky still...please fix!

Love the ability to change tempo and the capo adjustment helps play chords I know. Just learning guitar and this app helps me notice progress in an otherwise dull repetitious routine. Found myself practicing more and playing around with chords and strumming patterns to figure out how to fill out the music more.

I would sacrifice my first born to the developer.

This is the best I have found. It is better then YouTube. Any song you can just about think of.

Very fun when it decides to work. Sometimes it works fine and other times it will decide go not play the video.

Its amazing how you can look up any song- pick the key and learn it so quickly bc of all the information the app offers.

I am learning the ukulele and this app allows me to play along with songs that I could have found guitar chords for elsewhere, but I have had a harder time finding the same for ukulele that consistently track with the song. Until now that I have discovered Riffstation. This app allows me to choose the ukulele from the instruments, and the chords are easy to see and play along with my ukulele. Love the ability to use the capo to find chords I am more familiar with. The ability to easily change tempo, go back or forward with a fingertip touch, makes even more complex songs easier for me to breakdown and learn in manageable bits. So far it is working like a charm, and far exceeds my expectations. I highly recommend this app. Excellent!

This is a great and useful app. But sometimes it renders songs with chords representing all the noise and background and lyrics combined… It would be great if it only did the chords! But definitely a great app!
